Cedars Park Lodge No: 8206

The lodge was founded to enable young masons of the sponsoring lodge, Goffs Oak Lodge No. 7169, to reach the chair in a reasonable time. With ten past masters, some from London Lodges, there were twenty founders when the lodge was consecrated on 30th April 1968.

The Lodge was named the Cedars Park Lodge, which formed part of the royal Theobalds Estate at Cheshunt. An old print of the then remaining Cedar tree in the park has been incorporated as the lodge crest and is represented on the banner as the central item. In addition the banner shows the two columns,  with the founders names,  a square pavement, the ashlars and the masonic symbols of the level and plumb rule.
