Banners of Mark Master Mason Lodges in Hertfordshire (Continued)
Provincial Standard (Obverse & Reverse)
A double-sided Provincial standard (right above) was commissioned in 2001 for the Mark Province of Hertfordshire. The standard was designed to complement the existing Provicial banner and also to make it easier to carry in procession.
This standard was designed by W.Bro Colin Childs and was first paraded during the Provincial Grand Master's procession into th Annual General Meeting of Provincial Grand Lodge held at the Royal Masonic School for Girls at Rickmansworth on Wednesday 16th July 2002.
The obverse shows the Provincial circular emblem in between a pair of Harts antlers resting on a keystone. The reverse is the Grand Lodge badge of an arch and keystone separating the Mark Grand colours. The standard is fringed in gold.
