Banners of Craft Lodges in Hertfordshire (Continued)

The lodge was consecrated on 6th September 1999, the lodge name having been taken from the motto of the county of Herts. The lodge crest although very similar to most depictions of the Hertfordshire Hart, the one shown on this banner is taken from the inner part of the badge of the Hertfordshire Constabulary. The Hart which is standing in water facing left, is contained within a garter upon which is the lodge name and number. On either side are the celestial and terrestrial pillars and in the centre at the bottom is the list of founders.

 

The banner was funded by the founders and dedicated by W.Bro Roland Mecklenburgh APGM on 29th May 2001.
