The lodge was consecrated on 9th June 1961.

The banner is centred around a blue background with crimson stripe at each side surmounted by the Hertfordshire Provincial emblem of a Hart leaping over water and the coat of arms of the town of Harpenden. 

The banner was dedicated 7th March 2007.
