The chapter was consecrated on 31st January, 1986.

The central crest is that of the Hooks Cross Lodge which is contained within the Royal Arch symbols of a circle and hexagram which was designed by W.Bro. C.H. Gilbert. It depicts two Harts by a stream, the River Beane, with the Motto “Esto Perpetua” – “Be Thou Eternal”.

The banner was dedicated on 30th April 2004.
